I’m going to look into a trainer when I have the extra money as it is probably something I am doing. The last fight was over food as they wanted to both get out the door to the container that I was filling up. Other fights are usually over me as they both want to dominate me. I hate having to be stern with them but it is the only way to keep them in their place. Yes it can be very scary.
It can be expensive, I’ve tried to educate myself by reading but it isn’t easy and I know we’re not consistent which is half the problem. Love and Six-Foot Leash is a dog blog I follow, you may have seen it because it is very popular, but she has mentioned several books that could be worth reading as well as providing information about behaviour. It might be a cheaper alternative for the short term, especially if you can borrow the books from a local library.
someone suggested muzzle the two and force them together until they get over their anger. She has several packs of dogs and that is what she does. I’d like to try it but now I must face the issue of getting the muzzles on them without being clawed off.
