Yesterday a friend took me to a place where it is impossible not to smile and be happy, a place where it is Christmas all year round, a warehouse filled with everything Christmas. Although I object to walking into a supermarket in September and seeing Christmas decorations for sale, the Christmas Shop reminded me of those we visited in Europe (except that here I was allowed to take photos) and I love being able to see and choose from so many different types of decorations, lights and Christmas goodies.
Do you love a good Christmas shop or hate the thought of entering a store where it looks as though Christmas threw up all over the shelves? With the year flying by and Christmas looming just around the corner, I have a feeling that I’ll be a regular visitor the Christmas Shop 🙂
I love Christmas time and love to look at the decorations. But sometimes it’s a little much when stores skip over Halloween and Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas.
We don’t have Thanksgiving but Australians have certainly adopted Halloween celebrations so at the moment the department stores and supermarkets are selling products for both occasions.
I’m so excited about my first christmas! I hope it snows!
I hope you get your wish and have a white Christmas, here it is usually very warm and we spend time at the beach 🙂
Our post today focused on the impending holiday season as well 🙂 Great minds thinking alike today!
It is a wonderful time of year, if not a crazy busy one. I’m going to miss the cooler weather, while you head into cozy days with hot apple cider we get out the bikinis and boardshorts and enjoy a cold beer or ice cold cider 🙂
Lovely pics. I love the idea of Christmas and love seeing all the beautiful decorations, but I always end up feeling a bit stressed (a very busy time at work leading into Christmas) and I don’t get much time off so it’s all a bit of a let down unfortunately. But I do enjoy a nice cold glass of champagne (or two/few!).
Thank you. Christmas is a crazy time, even though we shut down between Christmas and New Years we usually head south to visit family and spend most of our time playing catch up with all of our friends and family. It is lots of fun but tiring 🙂
