Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry

Venice geometric coloured lamp

I fell in love with the traditional handblown glass lamps feature heavily in Venice, but this lamp also appealed and I loved that it would have been easier to pack and transport than the glass lamps. The coloured light and happy shape brightened our last dinner in Venice, for we did not want to leave.

It’s so beautiful and special because it reminds you of Venice! It’s a great example for the photo challenge too – wonderful picture Sam πŸ™‚

Thank you Meg, I thought the challenge would be really difficult for me but when I started trawling through my photos I found lots that would suit but this was my favourite.

Seeing how the work the glass in Murano was really amazing.
I saw this pic first thing when I woke, last night left the computer on my bed and I was partially asleep when I saw your post, I couldn’t make sense of the pic. Went back to sleep and had a dream about bunch of rainbow water slides.

Really beautiful. I love how it glows so softly with those colors. It is amazing what artists can do.

We’ve got this lamp.at home. Took us days to put the puzzle together. But it was totally worth it. πŸ™‚
