Oh dear. Not a very good standard considering the enormous amount of money that David Jones throws at the promotions company that produces these windows. ..some may think they are cute but compared to Myers they are very amateurish and any reasonable community craft group could equal them. As the subcontracted designer and creator of the 2006 David Jones Christmas windows, I am embarrassed with this work.

After having seen the Myer Christmas windows in Melbourne last year I was less impressed with David Jones’ effort but it was nice to see Christmas decorations starting to appear in the city especially when many places are sans Christmas decorations in case someone finds them offensive.
