Meg Travels posted some wonderful photos of bridges in Venice as part of a weekly travel theme instigated by Where’s my backpack? and having struggled of late to find the time to blog regularly it looked like something I could participate in, after all I have thousands of travel photos.
This week’s theme is roads and these are some of the roads I have travelled.
Some happy memories here, Sam. Just so long as you’re well, and busy- not just busy? Enjoying life too?
Most definitely, that’s what I love about photography, the photos take me back to some wonderful times 🙂
Enjoying life but could deal with being less busy so I had more time for the stuff I love, looking forward to having a break over Easter.
This is a fantastic collection of pictures! I love the ones from Italy especially, and the roads pictures from New Zealand are wonderful… 🙂
Thank you Meg, I thought you might enjoy the Italy pics and there are parts of New Zealand which make you feel as though you’re in Europe, such an amazing country 🙂
Wow, you’ve traveled some wonderful roads.
I’ve been very lucky and I hope to travel more in the not-too-distant future.
I’d be happy to travel along any of the roads in your selection of photographs. They are beautiful!
Thank you, so many beautiful roads to travel 🙂
Wow the cool thing I found about this is if you think of a road you think of a pretty simple thing, these pictures show how diverse this “simple thing” can really be! Great pictures
Exactly, when I first saw the theme I thought I’d have nothing worth sharing but then I went through my photos and found some wonderful roads. Glad you liked the pics, thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂
Pompeii road is my favorite. Is is old!
Pompeii is an amazing place to visit, I love the stepping stones that they have on the road so that they didn’t have to step down into water and muck that was once on the roads.
