Travel theme: Pale

Embracing the pale in my travel photographs was an interesting activity, pale often has such negative connotations but seeing the beauty in pale is actually very easy, there is something so appealing about delicate white blooms, snow on a mountain and the lightness of colour as the sun sets and rises.

I like a soft, pale palette. So calming, and I need that these days. I also like fried calamari…very much!! Lovely photos.

Thank you, I know what you mean, that theme came at just the right time for me. Fried calamari is a beautiful thing 🙂

Thanks! I love photographing flowers and the variety of colour with tulips is amazing.

That sounds like a tough one, but you’ve really shown the delicate beauty with these. I’m surprised there are so many pale things out there. Love the flowers and statues. That food looks interesting too. 🙂

I think we’re at one with this, Sam. These are truly beautiful. Love the Maori carving and the sunset especially but they’re all great photos.
