Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Which ways – Featuring steps or stairs

This week Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge focuses on steps or stairs and if there is one thing that we discovered on our trip to Europe was that there were plenty of stairs to climb.

I’m trying so hard not to linger in my Reader tonight because I have work to do, but you’re not making it easy, Sam. Lovely pics! 🙂

Thanks Jo, glad you like them! I find that I can lose hours in my Reader, having an ipad makes keeping up a easier and I don’t have to lock myself away in my office 🙂

Thank you Cee, your challenges always give me a good excuse to spend time browsing my travel photos and I’m so happy you like them.

I often wonder how the older and or disabled folk of Europe manage – there are SO many steps everywhere! They make for great photos though!

There were some ramps and elevators to assist those that can’t handle steps but they weren’t as obvious or plentiful in some parts of Europe. The spiral staircase in the Notre Dame Cathedral and Arc de Triomphe were spectacular to see but harder for me to capture as I focused on climbing up and around.
