Today is the last day of Winter in Australia, it has been a real mixed bag this year with heavy rainfall, some of our lowest temperatures and some of our warmest weather for the season. The weekend the temperature has been between 24 and 26 degrees celsius, people are spending more time outdoors and many head to the beach.
This gallery is a mix of photographs taken during the cooler months, I experimented with shooting stars at night as well as taking numerous shots of Maxi, Bundy and flowers in bloom.
Love the puppy kid photos as well as all the others. Gorgeous scenery and beautiful flowers.
Thank you very much, it means alot coming from someone who takes amazing photographs 🙂
lovely photos………
Thank you 🙂
Wonderful photographs, such crisp colors and detail. I especially like the flowers and the photo with the star trail!
Thank you! I’ve always loved photographing flowers, they stay still for the most part and such a wonderful array of colours and shapes. Night time and stars are something very new to me, now that the weather is warming up I’ll spend more time outside at night.
Lovely pics as usual! Looks like we’re all glad to see the back of Winter!
Thank you, definitely glad to see the back of Winter but I do like the cooler nights for sleeping – not looking forward to the long hot summer they’re predicting. Happy Spring!
Awesome puppy shots! 🙂
Thanks TSL, I can’t help but take lots of puppy dog shots, such funny and adorable things that they are 🙂
Sweet, sweet pups!
The night sky photo is especially stunning. It’s wonderful that you can see so many stars. Here the city lights block them all.
Thank you, they are my sweet babies. The night skies here are quite starry, we are far enough away from busy roads and street lights to still be able to see them.
You probably can’t wait for spring! Your doggies are so sweet and I think the butterfly picture is gorgeous… 🙂
I love Spring and all the colour and light that comes with it, it is my favourite season. Glad you liked the photos, thankfully the butterfly hung around long enough for me to take his picture 🙂
It sure was a warm start to Spring. Great photos!
Thank you! It was an extremely warm start to Spring, even by Queensland standards, the temperature has cooled slightly here but I’m not complaining 🙂
