Critical praise for Royal Academy of Arts’ Australia exhibition | News.com.au

An exhibition of Australian artists going back 200 years opens at the Royal Academy of Arts in London today, popular artists such as Jeffery Smart, Brett Whitely and Sidney Nolan are featured alongside lesser known artists. Many of the artwork comes from the National Galley of Australia which is one of my favourite places to visit in Canberra, I hope that those of you living in or around London will get the chance to see the exhibition.

That’s really cool that the British can now see Australian art firsthand!

I thought so, apparently some of the critics aren’t so kind but I think that the average person would enjoy the exhibition. Thanks for the reblog! πŸ™‚
