The Louvre, Paris

Recently I’ve been listening to a travel podcast called Join Us in France, it is produced by Elyse and Annie and anyone wanting to travel to Paris and/or other destinations such as Toulouse or Strasbourg it is worth listening to as it is both informative and fun. After listening to the podcast on visiting the Louvre, I find myself going back (in my mind) to Paris and remembering some of the beautiful things we saw and experienced, visiting the Louvre is one of those very special moments.

Lovely photos, Sam. It sounds an interesting website.
We sacrificed the Louvre in favour of Musee d’Orsay and side trips to Giverny and Versailles. August is busy too. Impossible to choose. 🙂

Thanks Jo, it is a great website for armchair travellers such as myself 🙂 Giverny is still on my list of ‘must-see’ sights, I loved the Musee d’Orsay and Versaille as well but fitting so much in to a short stay can be exhausting.

The Louvre is so amazing and your pictures are great reminders of all the treasures there!

Wish I could have seen more of the art in the Louvre, we went late in the day and after a couple of hours wandering around the museum we were exhausted. Hope to go back and see a little more of the amazing treasures on display 🙂
