Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

These ‘green’ images were taken during our scrappy adventure in Europe, most of the photos were taken in Italy. At the time it was Spring and green landscapes were in abundance but rather than share the copious number of landscape shots I thought it might be a little more interesting to find other green things in my album.

Love all the different hues of green. Really opens your eyes to look all around you and see where else you can find it!

You don’t realise how many different greens there are until you do something like this. Thank you for stopping by πŸ™‚

Isn’t it just a beautiful place? I can’t wait to return and it is a dog friendly place πŸ™‚

That watery one in Varenna is kind of intriguing, and I love the vineyards. Nice selection, Sam.

Thanks Jo! I was trying to capture the vibrant green and the translucent nature of the water, Varenna was such a beautiful and relaxing place.

Thank you, I have lots of door photos from our trip but that is the only green door photo. So glad you liked my pics πŸ™‚

These are all gorgeous photos! I particularly like the shutters and the door – I think I would have known these pictures were taken in Italy… πŸ™‚

Thank you fellow Italophile! I knew you would love the shutters, you have captured many beautiful photos of windows and shutters.

I love the green water. The one of the shutters with the man peering out definitely seems like Italy! πŸ™‚

Thank you. The water was so beautiful, looking at it made us feel like going for a swim although it would have been very cold. Perhaps the only thing missing from the photo of the man and shutters is a line filled with washing πŸ™‚

Rome Day 03-25 is my fav. What is it?

I think the one you’re talking about is the large bronze pine cone that sits in the Court of the Pigna (pine) in the Vatican Museum. Thank you for stopping by, so glad you found a favourite πŸ™‚
